Astrology for the 21st Century

No time at present to look into the astrology of this, but it's crucially important that this information is widely circulated so posting this now rather than waiting until more time is available:-

Hidden in the new Coroners and Justice Bill is one clause (cl.152) amending the Data Protection Act. It would allow ministers to make 'Information Sharing Orders', that can alter any Act of Parliament and cancel all rules of confidentiality in order to use information obtained for one purpose to be used for another.

This single clause is as grave a threat to privacy as the entire ID Scheme. Combine it with the index to your life formed by the planned National Identity Register and everything recorded about you anywhere could be accessible to any official body.

That is what we meant by "the database state". It is now a threat not a theory."

From the 27th onwards into February there's a configuration of planets that's likely to correlate with significant events/decisions regarding the financial crisis, and probably also the Israel-Palestine violence. It's also likely to match up with things in Obama's first weeks of Presidency.

The Saturn-Uranus opposition is the backbone of it. Jupiter is at 45 degrees to Uranus, and 135 degrees to Saturn, so there's an intensification of issues to do with the opposition between all things Saturnian and all things Uranian.

In addition to that Venus conjoins Uranus, and a Mercury-Mars conjunction links with Venus, Saturn, and Uranus by trines/sextiles.

So, three inner planets and three outer planets - making 6 out of a total 10 - are involved in this.

And then there's the Sun and the Moon - involved variously, but most significantly by way of a Solar Eclipse in 45/135 aspects to Saturn and Uranus.

Barack Obama's inauguration took place with the Sun-Mercury conjunction exactly conjunct his Jupiter, and transiting Jupiter just under three degrees away from his natal Jupiter, all in Aquarius.

Aquarius, along with Sagittarius and Pisces, is the Sign of 'hope'.

Actually, it's the Sign of 'hopes and fears', because they're never separate. Hope is what you have when you're worried about something you have no direct control over, and little or no indirect influence either.  Hope is a form of fear. It's a useful tool if you want to deceive yourself, or other people.

The USA has a Sagittarius Ascendant and the Moon in Aquarius. It's the land of hope, optimism, and 'can-do', where life is clinically split between 'yes, we can' and 'no, we can't.

At the moment of inauguration the transiting Ascendant/Midheaven midpoint, symbolising the specific time and place, was opposite Obama's Mars - leadership, aggression. The current Saturn-Uranus opposition is configured with Jupiter and Venus at the moment, and Obama connects with it via his Mars. He is likely to feel completely hamstrung at the moment, yet itching to explode onto the scene to capitalise on the fetish for newness that is in the air.

The other midpoints highlight the glorification of hope, and the raising onto a pedestal of the idealised, redemptive father figure who has come at last to make the world a better place [sic], including:-

Sun/Neptune = Obama's Sun
Jupiter/Neptune = Obama's Sun
Sun/Jupiter = Obama's Mercury
Sun/Jupiter = Obama's Jupiter
Sun/Uranus = Obama's Uranus
Jupiter/Uranus = Obama's Uranus
Jupiter/Uranus = Obama's node
