So the USA's outgoing president has issued an invitiation to the G20 countries' leaders to attend a summit in the Washington DC area of the USA on 15th November 2008. There's no starting time yet released for this meeting and no specific location yet either, so a full chart can't be calculated for it.  It links with the previous post about the important configuration between Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus in November.  And what else?

What we know is that on the morning of the 15th in the Washington DC time zone transiting Venus (finances, economy, values) will be almost exactly opposite the USA's Venus.  Moreover, at around 10am that morning in the Washington DC area transiting Venus will be rising, meaning that the USA's Venus will be setting...... highly symbolic of the USA's financial clout being on the wane at the moment: in choosing this date, the USA government is gravitating towards the meaning of 'the sun is setting on the USA's economy, we're not in charge here, our star isn't rising via this summit, we're not going to take the lead here'.  Used constructively, this alignment means that the USA's role in the summit is to facilitate the agreement and ensure an equal exchange amongst equal participants, not dictate how it's going to be and domineer the proceedings.

The summit takes place just after the first exact Saturn-Uranus opposition, and the USA's presidential election.  The series of Saturn-Uranus oppositions is very important for the USA, particularly since it will square the USA's Mars (war, unilateral behaviour, independence, fighting spirit) - there are definite changes to be made, and how the new USA government team responds is going to be pivotal for whether they are able to 'ride the wave' with finesse or tumble along with it in a very turbulent wake of change.
